NKSSIA (North Karnataka Small Scale Industries Association)
NKSSIA is having more than 800 members representing manufacturing small scale industrial units. It is a meeting of industrialists, Businessmen covering entire gamut of industries and its subsidiary units. NKSSIA is registered organisation registered under Registrar of Societies.
North Karnataka Small Scale Industries Association is one of the largest Associations in North Karnataka. It was established in 1962 with a handful of passionate entrepreneurs with a sole objective of safeguarding the interests of industrial units of North Karnataka complex. Over the years the Association has transformed itself as a facilitator providing required assistance for the growth of small-scale industries.
NKSSIA represents grievances of members and infrastructure issues and participates in policy making with the government. NKSSIA takes great care in organising workshops, seminars, awareness programs, and interaction sessions on various commercial and technical subjects to upscale knowledge and skills of the members of Association. NKSSIA also organises industrial tours, visits and exhibitions in order to keep up with the pace of ongoing industrial trend.
The Association actively takes part in rendering community services such as
- Organising health check-up camps, eye check-up camps, diabetes and heart check –up camps for the employers and employees of the industries.
- Participates in providing relief packages during floods and Pandemic.
- Organises COVID vaccination camp for members & surrounding localities.
NKSSIA has also setup Women empowerment cell in collaboration with Inner Wheel Club of Hubballi to provide the space for conducting various camps, exhibitions and workshops for the women run businesses.
The Management of Association comprises of 7 Office bearers and 15 Managing Committee Members, NKSSIA has successfully completed 50 glorious years of its service to the members of the Association with innumerable developmental, growth and promotional activities purely for the benefit of the small-scale industries in and around Hubballi.
The members of the Association have rendered great support so far for the betterment of the Industrial growth and service to the society and affirm to widen its services for the betterment of small-scale Industries.
